Kaylene worked in public education for five years in a variety of roles, including as an educational aide, peer mentoring coordinator, and social media manager.  She has also worked as a freelance writer and copyeditor.  Kaylene has been an advocate for increasing STEAM education opportunities in her local school district in Ohio.  She was introduced to AMTA by a former colleague and she is looking forward to serving teachers as the new Director of Member Services.
