2026 Modeling Physics for Modelers Teaching Outside Their Field

COURSE OBJECTIVE: This course, Modeling Physics: Distance Learning for Modelers Teaching Outside Their Field, is designed to prepare out-of-field in-service Modelers who are assigned to teach high school physics but have not had the opportunity to attend a Physics Modeling Workshop™. This is a great course for teachers already using Modeling pedagogy in their classes and who have taken a Modeling Workshop™ in another discipline, or even those who have learned modeling from a supervising teacher or colleagues and need additional training and support. 

DATES:  Wednesday October 7, 2026 – December 16, 2026; 10 weeks, 30 hours (Schedule finalization in progress)

TIME:  7 – 10 PM Eastern Time / 4 – 7 PM Pacific Time

LOCATION:  Zoom Video Conference (a link will be sent in the confirmation email after registration is completed)
