COURSE OBJECTIVE: This course, Modeling Physics: Distance Learning for Modelers Teaching Outside Their Field, is designed to prepare out-of-field in-service Modelers who are assigned to teach high school physics but have not had the opportunity to attend a Physics Modeling Workshop™. This is a great course for teachers already using Modeling pedagogy in their classes and who have taken a Modeling Workshop™ in another discipline, or even those who have learned modeling from a supervising teacher or colleagues and need additional training and support.
DATES: October – January, 2026; 10 weeks, 30 hours (Schedule finalization in progress)

LOCATION: Zoom Video Conference (a link will be sent in the confirmation email after registration is completed)
LEADERS: Leader 1 – To Be Assigned (Physics Modeling Instruction™ Expert); Leader 2 – To Be Assigned (Out-of-field Modeling Instruction™ Leader (Teaches Physics but Chem or Bio educator by study)
