Any K-12 teachers from the state of Michigan are welcome to attend.
- $1000 stipend provided.
- Free one-year AMTA membership included for all MI Teachers who participate.

Workshop: Middle School Science Modeling Instruction™
Instructors: Matthew Oney / Nell Bielecki
Housing: Attendees will be responsible for their own travel and food expenses. There are multiple hotels on and near campus. Unfortunately, the workshop group is not large enough to receive any special rates. Matt Oney noted that the Kellogg Center and The Graduate are the best options for proximity but may be more expensive. Review website for hotel rates or look for Airbnb options.
Stipend (Michigan Teachers Only): MSU will cover your workshop registration and provide them with a $100 stipend for each day your attend. Connect with Matt Oney for more details.

OTHER: 2 graduate-level credits are available through the University of the Pacific for $79/credit hour. EDUP 9171 Introduction to Modeling Instruction in Middle School. Reach out to your leader(s) to confirm your interest in obtaining credits.
