Physics in Cedar Falls

Location: University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA

Dates: On-campus meetings from July 6 – 10 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (MTWThF) with arranged Zoom online class meetings twice a week from July 13 to July 31st on Tuesdays (10 am to Noon) and Thursdays (1 – 3 pm).

Course title: PHYSICS 4950/5950 – Readings in Physics:  Mechanics for Physics Education (3 hours)

*A physics course that provides experiences in motion, force, energy, and momentum, using physics education curricular resources with emphasis on practices aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The course is designed for current and future middle-level and secondary science teachers. The resources will include Modeling Instruction and PRISMS PLUS.
