Caroline Savio-Ramos is an experienced STEM educator, instructional designer, and leader with nearly twenty years of experience in Physics, Computer Science, and Educational Technology. She has taught and mentored students and teachers at both the secondary and university levels, helping shape engaging, hands-on learning experiences using Modeling Instruction. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to supporting teachers, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation in STEM education.
Dr. Savio-Ramos earned her Ph.D in Educational Technology from Arizona State University, following master’s degrees from New York University and Ramapo College of NJ. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Physics & Spanish from Rutgers University and also holds a B.S. in Computer Science. Her professional background includes work in human computer interaction and user experience research at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Intel, as well as active involvement with the American Modeling Teachers Association, where she now serves as Executive Officer. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
