Webinar: Involving the Solar Eclipse in Your Classroom

On 9/20 astronomer Richard Gelderman, who helped in the early 2000’s to build Western Kentucky University’s science teacher preparation around Modeling Instruction, led a delightful webinar “Involving the Solar Eclipse in your Modeling Course”.  He provided all sorts of tips on safely viewing an eclipse and posed some questions that would make intriguing projects for students to work out in a modeling classroom. The recording of the webinar, along with the slides he used in his presentation, can be accessed by clicking on the Recorded Webinars button on the landing page of the member website.
